Well I found these old stamps and for some reason I decided to take a picture of them. I'm not sure if they're worth anything, I did a little bit of research but no luck. Well here's the picture if anyone is interested or collects stamps?
Just wanted to come on here and post the handkerchief image the professor took a picture of yesteday.. At first it was really blue but thanks to Lynn, who showed me how to change the black and white settings on it in photoshop I was able to come up with this..
I've been a fan of animation for as long as I can remember. It's actually one of the subjects I would like to get into with my art. Yesterday I went to watch Coraline and it was great. The storyline could of been a little better I guess, but the slow stop animation was really cool. I'm a huge fan of dark art ex: Tim Burton stuff. I am currently working on my own stop motion animation can't wait to post it up and see what everyone thinks. For now here are a couple of videos I find interesting! One of them is called the Muto Wall by an artist name BLU and the other is called Minilogue/hitchhikers choice by Kristofer Strom

Some old school pen and ink fine line art on a handkerchief I did back in the 11th grade.. It's titled "Crazy Dream" it's actually larger than what it appears; some of it was cut off I didn't take a great picture. Handkerchief or "Pano Arte" is a Chicano/ Latino art form that originated in the Southwest prisons in the 1940's or 50's. I have a large collection myself =)
Well I got my portfolio reviewed by Greyson Hong from SAIC. Over all he said it was "Strong and the talent was definitely there," but I should focus more on where I'm trying to go with my art; what the emphasis of it is? Hmm, I guess to me I know what it means personaly but i'm not stressing it enough in my work for others to understand.. So looks like I have a busy schedule ahead of me; need to develop my voice on it even more for others to apprehend the man behind the art.. El Artista..
